CBD Vape Juice Basics

Although some of the most well-liked cannabidiol (CBD) products include edibles and oral drops, CBD vape juice is your best bet if you’re looking for a quick, efficient, and covert way to take this hemp-derived substance.

When you inhale CBD instead of ingesting it, you give it direct access to your bloodstream via your lungs. Your body doesn’t have to digest or metabolize it, so you can expect quick results. You’ll find that the beneficial effects of CBD kick in within minutes, sometimes even seconds.

However, before you take the plunge and start vaping CBD, it’s important to know more about it.

How to Vape CBD

First, you need the correct dosage. As with any CBD product, determining the right dose before using CBD vape juice is crucial. You won’t experience any of the desired benefits if the dosage is too low. You may feel exhausted and experience nausea or other side effects if the dose is too high.

Getting your appropriate dose of CBD will probably take some trial and error. Various factors can affect how sensitive you are to the effects of CBD vape juice, like your body weight and age, metabolism, genetics, diet, mood, or medications.

Typically, most CBD vape users ingest between 10 mg and 30 mg per day, but those suffering from severe chronic pain may need up to 1000 mg per day.

Consult your doctor regarding CBD dosage and follow their advice. You can easily adjust the dose over time.

If you’re new to CBD vaping, start with a small dose of around 1 mg or 2 mg and slowly increase it by a maximum of 5 mg at a time. Wait to see how your body responds after each dose(up to six hours) before taking another dose.

Most CBD vaporizers contain around 100 mg of CBD, giving you around 1 mg or 2 mg with each hit.

Use the Right CBD Vape Juice

It’s important to understand that CBD oil and CBD vape juice are two very different things. Mixing them up is a recipe for a bad time.

CBD oil is edible. You can put a few drops directly in your mouth or mix it with foods or teas. You can even cook with it if you don’t expose it to heat over 320℉ (160℃). However, you can’t vape CBD oil.

Edible CBD oil will burn in a vaporizer, losing its potency, ruining your device, and leaving an unpleasant taste in your mouth.

CBD vape juice (or vape oil), on the other hand, is only intended for vaporization. It’s in a carrier liquid, allowing it to be vaporized effectively without losing its potency or burning. Never eat or cook with CBD vape juice because it’s not intended to be swallowed.

Invest in a Quality CBD Vape

Once you have your dosage and the right CBD vape juice, it’s time to focus on the vaporizer device. You have several options. The most popular are:

  • CBD disposable vape pens
  • CBD cartridges
  • Refillable CBD vape pens and pods

Disposable vape pens are the cheapest and most convenient pens. They have a built-in battery and coil and are pre-filled with CBD vape juice. Once you have used up the vape juice, simply throw away the pen and get a new one.

CBD cartridges are pre-filled vape juice containers that require a battery to function. They contain up to 1 ml of CBD; if you use them, you need to buy a new cartridge (but not a new battery.)

Finally, refillable CBD pens come with the most significant initial investment but pay off big time in the long run. You have the battery, the resistor (occasionally needing to be replaced), the tank, and the mouthpiece. You need a bottle of CBD vape juice to refill the tank whenever you want to vape. They require maintenance, constant cleaning, refilling, and coil changes but are generally considered the best option.

Take Slow and Steady Breaths

To vape properly, you need to inhale slowly and steadily, no matter what CBD vaporizer you use. Turn on your device and take a nice, slow puff for three seconds. Hold your breath with the vapor in your lung for a few seconds before exhaling slowly.

If you’re a beginner, wait about ten minutes before taking a second hit and notice how CBD affects you.

The average user vapes CBD about twice a day, but that depends on your condition and what you want to achieve with CBD. If you just need an energy boost, a short morning vape session might work best for you. If you’re trying to relieve chronic pain, you may need to vape CBD multiple times a day.

Enjoy!

CBD leaves your body more quickly the faster you process and absorb it. The quickest way to experience CBD’s effects and for your body to process it is through vaping. Edibles or other products processed through the liver and digestive system stay in the body longer.

CBD has tremendous potential for treating a wide range of ailments and diseases, such as insomnia, chronic pain, anxiety, and even cancer. And there is still a lot of research taking place. Scientists have yet to explore thousands of therapeutic options for CBD and other cannabinoids.

Many people already know about and have experienced the numerous benefits of CBD. Whether you’re eating an edible or chilling out with a vape, enjoy all the benefits of CBD today.
