Choosing The Right Ingredients For A Cannabis-Infused Milk
You can make the cannabis-infused milk drink with cow’s milk or keep it vegan by mixing it with your favorite plant mylks. Remember, CBD is fat soluble so you want to use whole milk or plant milk with a good fat content: Coconut, Macadamia, Almond, Hemp, Pistachio, and Cashew mylks are all excellent choices.

Cannabis-Infused Milk Recipe
Are you looking for a comforting drink right after waking up or going to bed? Our cannabis-infused milk recipe is the drink you didn’t know you needed.Â

Ingredients
- 1.5 grams of cannabis flower
- 1.5 cups whole milk (or plant milk with a good fat content)
Instructions
- Decarboxylate : First things first, prep your cannabis by decarboxylating. This process activates the THC and/or CBD that will be infused into the butter. Preheat your oven to 220 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread your cannabis over the parchment and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 22-30 minutes, keep an eye on it, every oven is different. When finished it should be lightly toasted and aromatic.
- Infuse the milk with the flower: Place the ground cannabis into a heatproof container as a double boiler*, in a slow cooker, decarboxylator device, or sous vide. Infuse over low heat 185F for 3 hours.
- Cool Once the 3 hours are up, strain, set aside to cool and set aside in the fridge.
- Enjoy! Use as a base for hot chocolate, coffee, or in a smoothie

* I make all my infusions in heatproof glass jars. Just place them in a saucepan filled with water, and simmer over low heat.
