To enter a California marijuana dispensary, you must present a valid form of ID to prove you’re of legal age. You can use a driver’s license, state ID card, or passport. The ID doesn’t necessarily have to be from the same state.

Otherwise, it needs to be kept in the car’s trunk during transportation.
Given that there are many cannabis dispensaries in California, and some are quite close together, it’s definitely possible to visit more than one in a day. Keep in mind that there are limits to how much cannabis you can buy per day, but that doesn’t mean you can’t visit multiple dispensaries.
