What is a Green Dragon Drink?
A Green Dragon drink is where you have alcohol like vodka infused with cannabis. This infusion is hands down the easiest way to extract CBD, THC, and other beneficial compounds from your marijuana. The signature green color comes from the extraction of chlorophyll from the buds and colitas. The longer you steep it, the darker it gets, ranging from light green to deep purple and even brown.
Alcohol is one of the best solvents for both CBD and THC. This means that if you steep cannabis in alcohol long enough you can make a tincture or a base for cocktail recipes. For this recipe you will need a high proof alcohol, at least 50% or 100 proof. Think of strong spirits like Everclear, fire waters, and high proof rums.Â

Can I Decarboxylate after the Green Drangon is prepared? By boiling the tincture for a few minutes?
I already made some. It’s pretty strong !! Almost acid trip strong.
What would cause that without Decarboxylation?

Good morning. Nah, you have to decab the weed before you make it.
Yeah, it can be real strong so Green Dragon responsibly. The strength is going to be determined by the type of strain you use and the over proof alcohol you use. Have fun but always be safe and responsible. This is the Cross Faded way.
Can I use shake and trim? Would the amount of thc increase?
