I love preparing meals in non-traditional ways. The Black Eyed Pea Summer Cannabis Salad is exactly that, non-traditional. This salad is far from the normal stewing of peas with maybe a side of cornbread. Developing this recipe allowed me to diversify the way I prepare vegetables and legumes.
The Black Eyed Pea Salad can be eaten with tortilla chips and pita bread, or it can be blended all together in a food processor to make a savory black-eyed pea hummus. Let’s get creative!
