3 Variations Of Popcorn With Cannabis

Stovetop popcorn is very easy to make, it is ready in less than 10 minutes and all you need is a pot with a lid, popcorn kernels, and seasonings. It’s sure to become a regular staple in your cannabis kitchen. Find my three suggestions below for Classic Cannabutter, Parmesan and Oregano, and Salted Caramel Crunch. These flavored popcorns can be customized with your choice of flavors, spices and seasonings.

Pairing Different Strains With Popcorn

I enjoy looking for strains that will pair well with different recipes. Bud has a strong taste and strong aromas thanks to their terpenes. It can be worthwhile to find that perfect pairing that compliments the dish without overpowering it.
I always follow JJ Smoak’s recommendations on the
Strain Finder to find what’ll pair well with each recipe. The plain Cannabutter Popcorn will work well as a clean blank slate so you can taste the flavors. If you want to go for the cross-faded pairing: cava and popcorn with cannabis are a perfect match.

Remember that the effects of edibles can take up to 2 hours to fully kick in, so start with a small serving and wait to see how it affects you before consuming more. Dose responsibly and adjust accordingly using the CBD Dosage Chart Calculator

* Dosing with CBD flowers is not an exact science. Different extraction methods extract different amounts of Cannabinoids and even buds from the same strain vary in quality. I recommend working with a trusted budtender or consistent brand to keep your dosing consistent.
* These are best enjoyed right away, but you can keep in an airtight container for 4-5 days.
