Weed games are amazing. We put a list together of some of the most fun games to play when you are high. You can play these weed games however you want — alone, remotely, or with a big ‘ol party. Have fun.
Fun weed games to play on Zoom
The pandemic has wormed its way into every aspect of our lives, including partying with friends. If you or your buddies are quarantining, throwing an in-person party might be an unnecessary risk to your health and theirs. Using a bit of imagination and creativity allows you to quickly adapt some classic smoking games to play with friends remotely using platforms like Zoom or Skype.
1. Smoke, Toke, and Chill With Some Movie Magic
Sometimes just watching a movie in the presence of friends is enough to lift spirits while enjoying some good ganja. Make sure you and your friends have the Chrome extension called Netflix Party, which allows everyone to watch the same movie simultaneously. Any movie will do, but we prefer ridiculous comedies while toking up.
Now, add your best (or most absurd and hilarious) rules. Every time someone curses in the movie, smoke. Or any time someone is shot, kissed, or killed, take a toke. The possibilities are endless.
2. Stoned Face
You can quickly adapt this fun weed game to play on a remote platform like Skype or Zoom, and the rules are very simple. Once everyone is good and baked, the participants have to keep a straight face. That’s it. The first to laugh receives a fine chosen by the group. That’s the part where you can get creative. You can even add rules on top of rules. Anyone who asks a question has to take a hit. Or anyone dropping F-bombs has to smoke. Again, there are tons of options to keep you and your pals laughing all night.
3. Never Have I Ever
Never Have I Ever is another classic, simple, and fun weed game that’s perfect for getting together remotely. Roll a few joints, pack a few bowls, or have some blunts standing at the ready. The first player begins a sentence, Never have I ever…” which they follow with something they’ve never done. If your friend says, “Never have I ever been too high to go to class.” Then, any player who has been too high to go to class at some point must take a hit.
Basically, if you’ve done or experienced the action your friend states, you take a toke. The next person in the group makes a statement, and the play goes on from there. Beware, if you’re toking up after every statement, you’re going to get really high, really fast. Maybe watch a movie between games, so you don’t pass out on your keyboard, or choose an energy-boosting sativa like Nightfire OG or Emperor Cookie Dough.
Best Weed Games to Play In-Person
If you’re throwing a party and there’s plenty of weed to go around, here are more fun weed games you can play with a group of friends.
4. Weed Jenga
With a little prep and planning, Jenga swiftly becomes Weed Jenga. Grab a Sharpie and your Jenga blocks. Get super high and write some rules on some or all of the Jenga blocks. Rules like “empty your pockets” or “only use your non-dominant hand for the rest of the game” work well. Get creative and have fun (that’s why we get high first!).
When you’ve finished writing the rules, assemble the Jenga tower and play as normal. When players pull a block, they have to do what it says. The person responsible for the tower’s collapse has to watch as everyone else takes a toke. That’s a basic framework for this weed game, but you can make up your own rules to make it more interesting.
5. Video Games
Almost any video game works on any platform — Xbox, PlayStation, PC, your phones — and you can do this activity with friends or alone. If you decide to chill alone, choose a visually stunning video game that is even more beautiful to behold while high, such as Grand Theft Auto, Skyrim, Firewatch, Bioshock, or Fallout. The best video game to play high is Mario Cart with your friends. Try it!
If you prefer to compete with friends, stick with the all-time classic Mario Kart. Create rules like whoever comes in last has to take a hit.
6. Medusa
Medusa is one of the most fun weed games I’ve ever played. It sounds so simple, but after a few rounds, you and your pals will be pee-pants laughing. Sit around a table or your comfy living area, and get your cannabis ready. Everyone puts their head down and counts to three. When you look up, choose another player to stare at. If you’re looking at someone who’s looking at you, shout “Medusa!” and take a hit. If you’re looking at another player that isn’t looking back at you, you’re safe.
Of course, you could reverse the rules or create new house rules to modify the game any way you want (like instead of yelling “Medusa,” choose a funny word that makes everyone laugh or cringe — like fartnipple. You’re welcome.)
7. Drinking Games
Any of your favorite drinking games can be transitioned into a weed game. Our favorites are Flip Cup & Beer Pong. Why? Because we keep the alcohol and integrate responsible toking rules into the game. This helps us get Cross Faded to make the night more interesting.
The Best Weed Games are Creative and Simple
What are the best weed games? Any game that allows you to enjoy time with friends. Fun weed games are simple and entertaining. Consider creating your own weed games.
Besides these group games, there are plenty of other ways to enjoy a party and the mood boost accompanying a few puffs. You can find many groups or solo games in the app store of your choice.
Classic board games are also totally cool to play with friends while high. (Have you ever looked at the Monopoly Man while stoned?) You can use almost any board game as a cannabis game.
Marijuana sharpens your senses and accelerates your creativity, so call some friends, toke up, and get gaming.
Loved this post! The game suggestions are spot on for a chill night. I can’t wait to try out “Flower Power” with my friends next time we vibe. Thanks for the tips!
