Great deals. Relatively small store. Good custumer service,, even though its allways very busy. Everyone is so polite, welcoming & helpful in the deli & pastry department & the hot food department. They also have a huge fruit & vegetables department. I was impressed with how colorful & affordable the deserts were.
I think they cater more to the Hispanic community. Some products especially in the produce department are a bit over priced. Also the meat department is a bit over priced also. I refuse to buy plantain from this market and beef tripe. It's price is too high.
Deeply racist. I watched the cashier yell and scream at a young black woman because she had her head phones on and did not hear the cashier ask her to give her a bag. I had to intervene, in which the cashier refused to ring me up until a manager came over. This is not the first time I've witnessed racist and or overtly rude behavior to black people in this business, just not at this location. I thought that first time was a fluke, the cashier was having a bad day. I'm starting to think that though El Super is in neighborhoods that are culturally diverse, including blacks that have usually been in those neighborhoods for generations, I'm starting to think this particular business only wants Hispanics to shop. That's racist. This is America, not some third world country. I have spoken to my representative of Inglewood.
I’ve learned watching a serious analysis that the “inevitable inflation” that we’re currently suffering, is actually a result of corporation’s greedy actions. They simply want more money and keep pushing on consumers to see how far they can go. Tapatío at 7.99 is ridiculous, as everything else out there. This isn’t exclusive to El Super. All stores are the same 😣
